Dec 8, 2000 - Apparently they have new balls or renamed the current balls for Texas Million. But why is a mystery since the balls cost so much and Texas Million is being replaced with a new mini like Lotto game next year. Either way, for those of you who track it, I'm sorry for not giving you notice so you could get ready for tracking new balls. The Commission doesn't think players have a need for this information. Dec 7, 2000 - I'm proud to say that we had two winners for the $38 million. Ya'll notice the numbers drawn were 1-3-9-16-35-39 - Remember, I told you to have winners, we need drawing results that can be birthday's and kids ages because this is what their "remaining and occasional" customers play. Well, here it is. (Both winning tickets were self picked tickets) The best news is that sales was only $10.6 million and had there been no winners, the next jackpot was only going to increase to $46 million. If you want to see what sales should have been, go to the "Total Sales" page and compare. (Click here to compare.) New Paragraph - Also, FYI, for this "roll," total sales were $52,964,720 and players won a total of $28,632,815 - this includes the 6 of 6 winners. Now, much of this will go unclaimed but still, the bottom line is, this does NOT equal 55% of sales they say they pay out to winners! While the TLC has managed to increase their sales by having fewer winners, the players are not supporting them and they know it. You can rest assured that Linda Cloud is not a happy camper as I write this. Her goal is to break the jackpot record of $77 million and now she has to start all over and it'll take even longer because the more people lose, the less they play and we have lots of losers with the odds we have now. And, guess what - I'm not one of them and it sure feels good! Dec. 3, 2000 - Another Pick3 prediction has come in. This makes the 3rd one. The first two I got from Don came in just like he said they would. It'll be interesting to see what this one does. Good luck to anyone who plays it and don't overspend. Nov. 30, 2000 - I'm proud to report that students from San Antonio College finally convinced the TLC that they were not being totally truthful in promoting the odds on the scratch offs. An incredible story. Click here to read it. Nov. 26, 2000 - 8PM - Several items to cover - I've received several emails about number "20" having been drawn in the last five Cash 5 drawings. Sorry, but I have no explanation. Finally, YOUR WELCOME for posting the Scratch Off ticket information! I thought those of you who love to play the scratch offs really knew how few winning tickets were printed. The TLC use to print 50 million tickets for each game then sales fell and they finally reduced the printing. Anyway, as I write this I have 24 (includes upcoming and the latest) tickets posted and I'll eventually get them all posted for you. As far as posting how many tickets currently remain unclaimed, I have that information in the Lotto Report. Just buy it. But I will consider it. OK? Nov. 24, 2000 - The Pick3 prediction I posted Nov 18 has come in. Don sent a message this morning to cease all plays. Click on link above to read his final message. Nov. 22, 2000- The Pick3 predictions that I received the morning of Nov.18 are coming in one by one. Unbelievable! Click link above to see what I mean. Nov. 20, 2000 - Both winners from the Nov. 8 Lotto Texas drawing claimed their prizes today. And, the TLC overpaid them $560,288! Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get paid more than our set commissions/salaries or be given more votes than we actually got? Click here to read their stories. Nov. 20, 2000 - I have summed up Don's Pick3 prediction for you. So go back and see if you get it all now. By the way, one of his predictions was that '2' would come as the last digit which it did on Saturday - numbers drawn were 122. Nov. 18, 2000 - I goofed on my answer last week to the reader who wrote in about the petitions and surveys and I have corrected it. I used the word "petition" when I should have said "survey" and that was confusing - I think my answer is understandable now! Sorry. Click here to re-read it. And, I've received another RARE Pick3 prediction. Click on link above. Nov. 14, 2000 - Check out the new Table of Contents page. It's been re-done again but this time I think you'll find it user friendly! Click here. Nov. 13, 2000 - In the past year, I've received many requests from you for an e-mail link to the Texas Lottery but I never put a permanent link on my site for you. But today, I was convinced that I should provide you with that email link. I had no idea how much trouble ya'll have gone to to try to send the TLC emails and have instead, inadvertently sent your messages to the wrong people. In the past week, I've spoken with several fellow lottery web-masters who have told me about the mail they've been receiving that was really intended for the Commission. So, to help you and them, I'm including on all my main pages an email link to the TLC so you can write them directly when you have something you want to say. From now on, you will not have to go from my to site to other sites in search of the Commissions email address. Nov. 8 - 9, 2000 - We had TWO winners for the $48 million jackpot! Fantastic. I was really thrilled when I got the results. Sales are still down. I've posted on the Money Page and on the Drawing Results page previous drawings with $40 - $50 million pots and the respective sales so you can see it for yourself. Click on the links above for either of these pages. Nov. 5, 2000 - I'm getting asked why so many drawings with no winner. That's because there are 25.8 million different combinations now and for last night's drawing, they only sold approx 11 million of those combinations - that's not even half. Since the majority of sales are coming from the $1 to $5 players and some of the folks who don't normally play are playing now, well, those players are playing special numbers only - birthdays, anniversaries and kids ages. That means the chances of having a winner would be much better if the numbers drawn would include 2 numbers - one thru twelve, 2 numbers - one thru thirty-one, and ideally, 2 numbers above 35. Of the last 8 drawings, none fit that criteria - two drawings come close - the Oct. 21 drawing (2-4-22-29-31-32) but they only sold 5.5 million tickets (combinations) and the Oct. 28 drawing (2-4-11-15-18-36) where they only sold 7.3 million tickets. As you can see, they didn't cover very many of the 25.8 million combinations. Generally speaking, to have a winner, a higher percentage of the total combinations need to be sold. At the rate sales are going now, they are WAY down, it might be another two, maybe three, drawings before they produce $25 million in sales to cover the majority of the combinations to produce a 6 of 6 winner. The TLC is in a most unusual position - on one hand, they are thrilled at the opportunity now to increase their sales, but on the other hand, they know sales are not near what they expected them to be or what they should be. And their peers know it too. If Texans were happy, we'd be showing it. So, what's going to happen? Players will cross borders to buy Lotto tickets now and that's exactly what the TLC intended. Now, let your imagination tell you the rest of the story. Oh, by the way, Florida had one winner last night. Florida's numbers drawn were 3-7-18-30-38-41. (Notice it fits the criteria) Their next jackpot will be $3 million. Nov. 4, 2000 - Sales are still down. I have posted on the Money Page and on the Drawing Results page previous drawings with $37 & $38 million pots and the respective sales so you can see it for yourself. Click on the links above for either of these pages. Nov. 3, 2000 - Well the Pick3 prediction came in tonight so ya'll cease play. I had it but not exact. Story of my life! I know many of you had it "307" for the engine - sorry. I posted all the pertinent data regarding the new $10 scratch off ticket for you today too. Including the odds - both overall and for each prize. I think you'll find this interesting. Just click here. Nov. 2, 2000 - Sales are down. I have posted on the Money Page and on the Drawing Results page previous drawings with $28 & $29 million pots and the respective sales so you can see it for yourself. Click on the links above for either of these pages. Also, like Texas, the Florida lottery has not had a winner lately. In the last 7 draws, Florida's jackpots have been: $3 million, $7 million, $10 million, $16 million, $20 million, $28 million, $35 million and finally $45 million. And Texas' has been $4 million, $6 million, $9 million, $13 million, $18 million, $22 million, $29 million and finally $37 million. I figured knowing this would make ya'll feel good! One more thing, for the record, Texas should not be starting our jackpots out a $4 million either. I'll show you why in the next day or so. I'm almost finished with the page. Nov. 1, 2000 - I've just posted a prediction from a gentleman who studies the Pick3 extensively. While his messages are far and few in-between, his predictions have been, for the most part, extremely accurate over the years. He misses rarely. At any rate, to read it, just click here. Oct. 28, 2000 - I added your objections to the scratch off ticket vending machines (easy for minors to purchase) and the TLC's "play" of words to our list. They are items 5 & 6 - click here to read it. Oct. 25, 2000 - Sorry I've been quiet lately but I've had a lot going on. The new Lotto Report came out this week, I've been out of town and a good friend lost her mother. Anyway, I really want to commend ya'll for sticking to your guns regarding buying Lotto tickets. There's been no big winners and the jackpot is climbing but very slowly. The TLC is seeing that we meant it when we said we'd quit. It's sad to see sooo much money coming in with very little being given back to players. Thanks for sharing your sentiments with me about how you feel about this and your appreciation for the new "Money Page." Did you know that there's already been 29 drawings using 54 balls and there's only been 5 six of six winners? Pitiful - huh? No wonder sales are down - losing never created excitement for me. Does it for you? Oct. 15/16, 2000 - I think I've finally fixed my Links Page so you can easily see and find everything that's here. Check it out - Click here. The prize-money page is now up and will be kept current. It shows everything you ever wanted to know about Lotto Texas payouts! Click here. Continued....click here to read more
