The 6 of 6 winner is suppose to receive $.37532
out of every $1 in Lotto TX sales leading up to his
win. In this case, total sales were $26,158,597. So, if
you multiply that times $.37532, you get the 6 of 6
winners share which was $9,817,844.
But they paid him $9,923,244.
The reason they paid this amount is because they
advertised $19 million - but sales fell short to
guarantee the 6 of 6 winner $19 million over
25 years with just his portion of sales.
So, one more time, we paid for this shortage.
Can you imagine how far that $105,400 could
have gone towards
increasing the 4 of 6 or
5 of 6 payouts or even towards giving the
retailers a much needed raise?
Fellow Texans - we're getting screwed. The 6 of 6 winner
has a set percentage of sales that he is suppose to receive.
Just like the 4 of 6 and 5 of 6 winners get a percentage
of sales - you don't see them getting overpaid.
The jackpot winner should not receive more
than
his share just so the TLC can make good on
their inflated "advertised" jackpot figures.
This
is wrong and if you don't speak up, then
they'll continue to get away with it.
If you want to halt this, then help me spread the word
by letting all your friends and co-workers know about this.
The easiest way I know to educate them would be to
refer them to my site so they can read all of this material.
I do NOT make money by having visitors. As you
all see, I have no advertising on my web site. Help
me by sending emails to everyone you know and
then ask your friends to do the same.
