Updates Below Original Play

CEASE PLAY Monday, June 30, 2003 - 11 PM - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: The occurrence of 8-6-1 ended the recommended play. My apologies to the audience in that it took too long to arrive which is a critical element of pick 3 play.

I hope you will continue to read the column for future opportunity. Don

ORIGINAL PLAY - Wednesday, June 11, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: I always try and evaluate all the events that took place in the pick 3 game to give readers a great chance for success. On my last play, I gave you the information a little early in retrospect but I had absolutely no previous statistic that the double digit would go as long as it did.

During the play some of the numbers that arrived were 025 while playing 225; 753 while playing 755; 533, 383, 353 while playing 339 and 133. Of course, I also added 666 and on Monday 166 was drawn.

Also, in the last 10 days of Night pick 3 draws, 6 out of the 10 numbers have been double digits. This is about twice as many as occurs in a typical 10 day event. Unfortunately, in this play I had to discount 720 numbers having three different digits and about 250 numbers having double digits. In this case, I did not select the correct ones but I believe the statistics were very true to form and my I error was in the way I read the statistics with the exception of knowing the correct double digit would have a 5 in the center position. (353).

So, knowing that the statistics are true, I am recommending players play a number with 77, 59, or 68 in it. This is beginning June 11, 2003. I hope to have some favorites for you tomorrow but 777, 995, and 668 pay more. Best regards,
Don

(From Dawn - Don is NOT saying to play double digits in this play. He is recommending to play numbers that contain 77, 59 or 68 in them.)

Saturday, June 28, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: The last 15 draws have been a nightmare for me as no occurrence of a number having the 77 or 59 or 68 has arrived. On an any play which this is, there are 5 possible outcomes that can arrive (77, 59, 95, 68, 86) out of 100. Thus, you might expect one of these outcomes to occur every 100 days. Since we are 15 days into the play, could it go another 85? My answer to that is an absolute NO.

Even though this is a very small group of numbers on a comparative basis (220 total) this forecast which began on June 11th, has a very good chance to be a total failure depending on how you are playing the 77, 59, or 68. Obviously, I like the numbers with those parameters more now than I did on June 11th, not because they are "due," but because relative to the other numbers, they should arrive.

More specifically, within this play, I prefer the digit 5 being in the number having three different digits. The only number that meets that is 5-9. So, 5-9 all or my favorite of 5-9-6 within the all category is an excellent choice. I also prefer the pair of 77 and 59 and 68 to be optimal in the back pair so 6-9-5 would be one of the potentials.

The best double and triple digits I can come up with are 777 and 599 due to the digits 99 position in the totality of numbers. Although triples have occurred recently, I certainly wouldn't avoid it now. For those of you who play 999, I wouldn't avoid it either.

It is necessary when the statistics do not arrive to re-evaluate everything and try and reassess if the play is still valid. I have performed those calculations. Since then we have had 2 triples, and 2 double digits. We have had 11 numbers having three different digits and not one of the 20 of 120 I have recommended. In retrospect, I selected the 77, 59, 68 OVER the 03,12. Since that time though, the numbers 370, 033, and 063 have occurred. I also noticed that 173 occurred three times. Since the split position of the 1 x 3 and 3 x 1 and 0 x 4 and 4 x 0 and 2 x 2 were at an all time Texas high that number could have been expected. Also, during the play, I made a choice of 259 and 268 as favorites due to the position of the 2 and 236 arrived, obviously not having the critical 8 in it.

I bring this information forward because the statistical nature of the game has proven CORRECT within the last 15 days. My ability to evaluate the statistics has NOT. Thus, I still have great confidence that the statistics WILL prevail. Good Luck to ALL. Don

Thursday, June 26, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: In the night pick 3 game, we again have an unusual formation of statistics. As you know if you read my column, I am recommending numbers be played with 77, 59 or 68 in them.

For the last three days in the night pick 3 draw the outcomes have been 731, 173, 713. Obviously, this is a deriviative of the same number of which there are 220 total possible core numbers. Perhaps a deriviative of 173 will come in tomorrow and the next day and the next day. I do not think it will but how many times must it arrive in a consecutive way before one grows suspect. This is actually one of the things that peaked my interest in the game to begin with many years ago. When is the occurrence of a number NOT random?

We trust the administrators of the games to go to elaborate measures to make sure the game is perfect. That each ball is measured and weighed and the pretests are conducted in a way which will test the game. After all, the house collects half of all we wager so it is in their interest to be very precise as to fairness. Yet, are mistakes made? I don't know if mistakes are made but when I see things happen that are surprising of a statistical nature, I too become concerned.

In the meantime, I am continuing to recommend numbers with 77, 59 and 68 in them with 777 as my favorite. Thanks for reading lottoreport.com. Don

Sunday, June 22, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: It is very encouraging to hear from the readers who had success in this very tough pick 3 game because they read my column. I cannot explain the amount of work I do to try and provide a winner for myself and the readers.

Of course I have written about the triple digit often during the last month. Triples are numbers that have provided me success and confusion when trying to examine a great statistical play for the readers. I mention this because I do not count the occurrence of a triple digit as an outcome using the statistics I have developed.

Thus, during the current recommendation the following numbers have occurred. 029, 879, 444, 000, 164, 370, 904, 665, 033. Since I am recommending you play a number with 77, 59 or 68 in it, that is 30 possible outcomes or 13.6% of the total possible outcomes. That means we have 87% of the outcomes AGAINST us. Although nine outcomes have occurred, I only count 7 of them because I do not count the triples. (I won't go into why - it's too lengthy) Thus, in seven outcomes the main parameters have not occurred. Although that fact is diminishing the potential return, I still believe this is an excellent play for the readers.

Right now, I am slightly favoring 259 and 268 over most of the other numbers. 777 must be played because it pays so much more as Imogene and Joanne and others will certainly agree with. Next, the 99 is very near a playing opportunity and the only number that could arrive with that parameters is 599.

In conclusion, thanks for reading the column and I wish you success! Don

From Dawn - I'm thrilled to hear from all of you who have hit on the triples. Quite frankly, I was surprised to learn ya'll picked other triples to play - but I'm glad you did! I apologize for not writing back - I've had a my hands full lately - I nearly lost my daughter on June 12 - but she is OK now - and I've been working on the Multi State data so ya'll will know the FACTS. I will be posting the data and a new form and when I get it up - I'll notify all of you who are on my email list immediately.

If you are not on my email list, just watch for the info. OK? At this time, if you are not already on my email list, please do not ask to be added. There are VALID reasons for this, so please don't take it personally.

Wednesday, June 18, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: Congratulations to Joanne who had a significant hit on a triple digit recently after reading my column. I believe it is the same Joanne who won in my recent experiment. Very nice to hear from you!

How to look at the recent outcomes of 2 triple digits have confounded me statistically for some time. I have noticed that a certain formation occurs when the triple digit arrives. Since I don't even count the triple as a number using my methods, this bodes well for my current play of numbers having 59, 68, or 77 in them.

Obviously, I only have 5 chances out of 100 to be correct but I think I will be this week. Keep reading lottoreport.com for great lottery news. Don

Saturday, June 14, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: I think you can tell from my writing that I take the pick 3 game very seriously. Last night's outcome of 444 certainly caused me some discomfort. That is because, as many of you know and my writing of June 3rd indicates, the formation of the numbers has indicated a triple digit will occur. How tough is that to predict within a ten day period? Well there are 1000 outcomes and 10 triple digits. That's 990 to 1. Since a triple had not occurred in about 300 days that's another 300 to 1. (night game only) So to successfully pick a triple digit in advance using statistics it would seem would be difficult at best, but as many of you can tell from my most recent writings not impossible.

Now that I got that out of my system, I expect you to have good success playing numbers with 77, 59, and 68 in them.
Don

Friday, June 13, 2003 - From Don - To the lottoreport.com: When a recommendation to play a number with 77, 59 or 68 is offered one has about a 5% chance of being correct. That is because there are 100 outcomes of pairs to be contained within a three digit number (77, 59, 95, 68, 86 are 5 of them) So, last night's result of 8-7-9 is always discouraging for players who played 7-7-9 or 6-8-9 or 5-9-7.

The play is still a very good play however because if I am correct about the 59, 68, 77 (5% chance to be correct) there would only be 30 choices available out of a real world situation of 220. So, 30 to 1 that might return 80 to 1 or 160 to 1 is a somewhat reasonable speculation. I do believe I will be correct very soon, even with a 95% chance of failure. I am still working on the best favorite in the group. In the meantime I prefer my mentioned numbers. Good Luck. Don
